Clearer guidance across Latitude

Clear guidance. Faster next steps.

We updated the Dashboard and Content Library so Latitude is easier to understand on the first read.

The change started with feedback from Kenneth Fong. Kenneth saw a Dashboard recommendation that said:

“Clarify how you judge DMs and profile views before calling LinkedIn effective.”

The underlying idea was useful: write about how you decide whether LinkedIn is helping your business. But the wording made Kenneth stop and interpret what Latitude meant. His point was simple: users should not have to think too hard just to understand what the product is asking them to do.

What changed

  • Dashboard guidance, labels, explanations, settings copy, and analytics notes now use shorter, more direct language.

  • Content Library states, filters, and actions are clearer.

  • Each generated recommendation now explains what Latitude noticed, what to do next, and why it matters.

  • Quality checks reject vague or jargon-heavy suggestions before they reach the Dashboard.

Who has access

The updated Dashboard and Content Library are now available to paid Latitude customers, including monthly subscribers and AppSumo customers.

Thank you to Kenneth for pushing us to improve the broader system behind one awkward sentence.
